WHAT’S NEW

Singapore is hosting its first

Sustainable Seafood Festival

from 8 to 15 June. WWF-Singapore and Marine Steward Council

are teaming up to educate consumers about the ecological

impact of their seafood choices. Watch out for special promos

at some of our best restaurants, such as salmon tartar served

with watermelon and raspberry vinaigrette at Il Cielo (shown

here). Hilton Singapore and Conrad Centennial Singapore are

participating on the heels of their parent company, Hilton

Worldwide, recently banning shark-fin soup from all of its Asia

Pacific properties, and Cold Storage is offering promos during

the festival. Watch out for educational road shows popping up

across the island, too.

For a list of participants and for more

info, go to picktherightcatch.com.

CHOC

SHOT

There are but four ingredients in

CaféDirect’s São Tomé 3-in-1 Luxury

Hot Chocolate

– cocoa, pure cane

sugar, skim milk and whey protein.

And, the cocoa, from São Tomé – aka

Chocolate Island – is packed with

flavonoids and other anti-oxidants. But

the sugar, we hear you say? It’s still hot

chocolate after all, so don’t go replacing

your morning protein shake just yet.

But at 62 calories a cup, this isn’t bad

for an occasional shot of choc. $8.85.

Available at Cold Storage, FairPrice

Finest, Giant Hyper and Jasons

Market Place.
