American Club Luncheon
A large and attentive crowd gathered in the beautiful Colonial Room of the
American Club for a luncheon with the theme Redefining Success in the
Workplace. Guest speakers included Caroline Casey, founder of charity Kanchi
and the Ability Awards; Rob Vogtle, COO of Deutsche Bank, Asia Pacific; and
Sher-li Torrey, founder of Mums@Work. Channel NewsAsia’s Annalisa Burgos
moderated an interesting panel discussion on the meaning of success in
professional life.
Magic Sound
Maya Gallery presented the first solo exhibition in Singapore of prominent Balinese
artist Putu Bonuz Sudiana. Guests were treated to a painting demonstration where
Putu Bonuz showed how he takes the energy from music as a guide to construct
rhythmical compositions onto his canvas.
