SONS OF LIBERTY

Before America was one nation, a generation of British loyalistsmaintained

diplomacy with the King while a defiant and radical group of young men

– Sam Adams, John Hancock, John Adams, Paul Revere, Patrick Henry

and Benedict Arnold – banded together in secrecy to change the course

of history. This acclaimed three-part miniseries follows the men from the

beginning of the American Revolution to the Revolutionary War, as they

work underground to establish spy networks, stockpile weapons and plan

covert actions – from the Boston Tea Party to the Battles of Lexington and

Concord – that eventually lead to a declaration of independence and one

of the greatest fights for freedom that the world has ever seen. Premieres

25 to 27 May at 9pm on HISTORY (StarHub Channel 401).
