A Tasty Tale
This month, iTheatre presents a reinvented version
of The Gingerbread Man, a fun-filled family musical
featuring catchy songs, colourful puppets and live-action
characters, plus valuable lessons for youngsters and
adults alike. See it from 20 May to 7 June at Jubilee Hall,

Oink Alert!
The popular preschool TV show Peppa Pig comes alive
on stage for the first time in Singapore in Peppa Pig Live!
TreasureHunt, direct fromLondon’sWest End. Featuring
an all-Australian cast, the sing-along production will surely
have kids snorting with laughter as they follow Peppa Pig
and her friends on a treasure hunt, with clues along the
way from Pedro Pony, Polly Parrot and Zoe Zebra. See it
on 30 May and 1 June at Resorts World Theatre, Resorts

Classical for Kids
Kids can look forward to joining conductor Jason Lai
as he leads the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO)
in Jason’s A to Z of Classical Music at the Victoria
Concert Hall on 1 June. Each of the three family-friendly
performances will teach little ones about classical music,
with a selection of popular masterpieces from the great

A Story Worth Savouring
Using music, movement and puppetry, an
Australian cast of three brings to life Oliver
Jeffers’ quirky and much-loved tale, The
Incredible Book Eating Boy . It follows Henry, a
young boy who loves to eat books – and, the
more books he eats, the smarter he gets. Just as
he’s on his way to becoming the smartest person
in the world, Henry realises he can’t digest all
the knowledge he’s eaten. But, with a little help
from his parents, he eventually finds a way to
enjoy books without using his teeth. Kids aged
three to eight, and their families, will enjoy this
captivating story, which encourages reading,
finding success through hard work and not
taking the easy way out. See it from22 to 24May
at Drama Theatre at School of the Arts (SOTA).
