EXHIBITION: CHA JONG-RYE
(22 JANUARY-15 FEBRUARY)
REDSEA Gallery presents a solo
exhibition by Korean artist Cha Jong-
Rye, best known for her mesmerising
woodwork. Although her sculptures
look like solid carvings at first glance,
they are actually made from fragile
layers of wood, meticulously stacked
and then sanded down into smooth,
fluid shapes.
REDSEA Gallery, #01-10 Dempsey
Hill, Block 9 Dempsey Road.
