We were replacing my twins’ cots
because they were two years old, and we
were expecting baby number three, so
we wanted them to transition to big beds.
We also needed a chest of drawers for
the baby’s new nursery.
I asked for recommendations from
friends who had older kids as I wanted
to purchase proper, good-quality single
beds that could take them from now
until their teenage years, or whenever
it is they get double beds! Ni-Night is
a super-cute shop with lovely kids’ and
Children’s rooms need to bemulti-functional, since they’re
used for sleeping, playing, working, eating (yes, really)
and entertaining friends in. Our expat readers tell us what
furniture works best for their young ones’ spaces.

home accessories; and the staff are very
helpful. The whole process was very
easy – the delivery guys even helped
pull apart the twins’ old cots and then
assembled the new beds for me too.
We chose two white single beds
with rails on both sides and trundles
underneath. Olivia’s bed is in a sleigh
style, which is really girly, and Eli’s is
a slat-style bed. Both work perfectly in
their bedroom, and I love white as you
can jazz it up so easily with colourful
accessories. I also got a white chest
of drawers for baby Hallie’s nursery as
the room she is in for now unfortunately
doesn’t have built-in furniture. The
drawers have actually been in our room
for the last two months since she was
born, as she’s been sleeping in our
room, and it’s been great for all of her
clothes and towels.
We love the twins’ beds and will
definitely be getting Hallie one from Ni-
Night once she is old enough for a big
bed. I love that the beds can take them
from toddlers to teens, and that the style
is classic.
