You’d never know from the outside that
Senso, tucked among the historical
shophouses on Club Street, was such
a large venue, with its very own alfresco
courtyard hidden within. Known for Italian
fine-dining dishes like pan-fried buffalo
mozzarella wrapped in Parma ham and
ravioli stuffed with braised veal shank, the
restaurant provides a spacious yet cosy
setting for any type of dining experience,
whether it’s a party for ten or a much
larger function. In fact, the elegant,
super-versatile venue has hosted events
on every scale, fromwedding receptions
and anniversary dinners to corporate
parties and product launches. While the
main dining room can accommodate up
to 90 guests, there are two private dining
rooms and a semi-private room that can
comfortably hold up to 30 guests for a
more intimate gathering.

to a 240-guest wedding dinner, or a more
intimate birthday banquet for 20. Decked
out in black-and-white chandeliers and
dark wood furnishings, the space feels
both elegant and tropical.
Menus are fully customisable for
events, with plenty of meat, curry and
vegetarian dishes and salads to choose
from; the mouth-watering favourites
include grilled wagyu sirloin and foie
gras with green curry reduction; whole
sea bass steamed with Thai herbs, lime
juice, garlic and fresh chilli; and lychee
and roasted duck breast salad with a
tamarind and honey glaze.
