Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2015

, an annual

snapshot of the best in Asia’s restaurant

scene, comes to Singapore next month,

offering opportunities for foodies to get up

close and personal with some of the most

influential chefs from the region and beyond.

The programme, which will take place in

conjunction with the awards event on 9 March,

will include a culinary summit (8 March) in

which leading chefs will discuss the future

of cooking and other related topics, and a

selection of one-off master classes (8 and 9

March) for aspiring chefs and food enthusiasts.

Also on offer is a series of Maestro Dinners (6

and 7 March) in which famous chefs from all

over the world will team up with Singapore’s

finest restaurants to host “four-hand”

The 2014 instalment of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list

– selected by an influential group of over 300 leaders

in the restaurant industry across Asia – includes

standout establishments from Hong Kong, China,

Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and Sri Lanka, among

other countries, with Singapore nabbing eight of the

coveted spots.

Restaurant Andre

and

Waku Ghin

took the number six and seven slots, while eateries

like

Iggy’s, Les Amis, Jaan, Shinji by Kanesaka,

Imperial Treasure Super Peking Duck

and

Tippling Club

are also on the list; the top slot went to

Nahm in Bangkok.

one concept known as

. The coffee shop and bistro by day (salads, burgers and pastas from $10 to

$14) turns into a hip tapas and wine bar at night, with menu items like pork belly and seafood pizzas ($18 to
