SINGLE PARENT?

Formed last year as a part of the

Australian & New

Zealand Association

(ANZA), the ANZA Single Parents

Networking Forum provides practical support, first-hand

advice and fun, too. Whether you’re a single parent

through separation, divorce or the loss of a partner, the

aim is to help you feel less alone, and better able to make

informed decisions about staying in Singapore or going.

Regular events provide opportunities for kids of single

parents to connect and share. Email

SUPPORTING

SCHOOLS

The children at

Kuma Cambodia

, a

school near Phnom Penh, are among

four worthy beneficiaries of generous

donations from Singapore. Local

businesses

Ni-Night

and

SIR Move

collaborated with a team

of tireless volunteers to deliver six truckloads of supplies to the

school. On site, the team doubled the library capacity, put together

a resource room with crafts and games, created an audiovisual

room and a sick-bay area, and more. Look out for the next

donation drive later in the year, and read more about the cause on

page 95.
