New Opening
Bath & Body Works’ first
Orchard Road store, at
Takashimaya Shopping
Centre, opened in August
with a multitude of dreamy
scents. This is the American
brand’s second store in
Singapore; the first is located
at Marina Bay Sands.
Kicking It
The Sarah-Grace Sarcoma Foundation’s
Kick Sarcoma health initiative brought
the community together to create
awareness of this deadly cancer in
Singapore. A night of music, “Classically
Kick Sarcoma”, at the official residence
of the Australian High Commission,
featured the cream of Singapore’s young
award-winning classical musicians.
Happy Runners
With no official race winner,
Color Runners only had two
simple rules to follow – wear
white and get bright. Ranging in
age from two to 80 years, about
18,000 runners completed the
5km Color Run on Sentosa.
Dubbed “the happiest 5km on
theplanet”, the race’sSingapore
incarnation boasted the largest
number of participants in
Southeast Asia.
