Lifelong Learning

1

Launched last month,

Laneway Learning

hosts cheap, fun

evening classes in anything and everything. It was started in

Australia two years ago in the belief that people have a desire

to keep learning, but often find traditional courses too expensive,

too long, or too much like their day job. Here’s what’s on offer

in October:

“Laugh your worries away”: fun, interactive “laughter

yoga” exercises mixed with relaxation, stretching

and breathing exercises.

“Let’s uke”: an introduction to ukulele.

“Landscape in a bottle”: create and learn

the basics of terrariums.

Classes are generally $20 each.

To check dates and register, visit
