WHAT'S THE WORD ON YOUR STREET?

THE SUPERLATIVES

Whether they’re newcomers or “old hands”, we’d love our readers

to get to know your neighbourhood. Help us by sending an email

to

contribute@expatliving.sg wit

h “Street Talk” in the subject line.

Include your name and street, and we’ll be in touch.

Your hands-down favourite

neighbourhood joints are:

Spize

on River Valley for the best

roti

prata

and

nasi lemak

. It’s open until

5am, which is handy after a night out.

I’m a massive sushi fan, and have

been known to eat at

Ichi Ban Boshi

Japanese

in Great World City twice a

week, every week.

Bangkok Jam

, also

in Great World City, is another favourite.

So is

Brewerkz

at Riverside Point – the

Mexican burger is to die for.

You won’t find better local

food than at:

Spize on River Valley.

We love a good bargain. The best

deals in your neighbourhood are:

Possibly the only thing missing from our

neighbourhood is a good deal.

The guiltiest pleasure

in your area is:

The red velvet cake at Cedele; I’m

obsessed.

One thing you’d never change is:

Great World City Shopping Centre; it has

almost everything I need and is so close.

The city gives you $5 million to

soup up your street. You use it to:

Put a crossing or bridge across Grange

Road at the bottom of our street. Having

to risk my life every day walking to

school was not ideal.
