20 Years of Freedom
In celebration of two decades of
freedom and democracy, the High
Commissioner of South Africa, HE
Hazel Ngubeni hosted a fabulous
dinner at the FullertonBallroomon 28
April. Guests includedmembersof the
diplomatic corps, senior government
officials, business organisations and
more. The highlight? A breathtaking
performance by local musicians The
Teng Ensemble and the PipaQuartet.
ANZAC Day
The Australian International School marked a
week of ANZAC Day services with the official
Dawn Service at the Kranji War Memorial
Cemetery on Friday 25 April. Hundreds of
people turned out to pay their respects in
what was a beautiful and poignant ceremony.
The AIS choir performed “In Flanders Field”
and the Australian and New Zealand National
Anthems, and the AIS School Captains laid a
wreath on behalf of AIS.
