AQUARIUS
January 20 – February 17
As 2014 ended and this year began,
you firmly decided what should go and
what’s next. This seems clear-cut. But
with the communication planet Mercury
retrograde in Aquarius from 21 January
to 11 February, a combination of errors
and unexpected twists forces a serious
rethink. While this is unsettling and can
cause delays, it raises important, if not
pivotal questions. Things may remain
unsettled until March. Be patient. What
you learn and who you meet proves
crucial, to existing plans and your future.
PISCES
February 18 – March 19
In mid-January, Mars, planet of ego and
action, moved into Pisces. It remains
until 20 February, and during this period
you’ll review your life, priorities, plans
– and passions. What once seemed
crucial will suddenly seem unimportant
while other, often new or unfamiliar,
pursuits or alliances take centrestage.
Many are challenging, and will require
time or courage. Clear-cut as decisions
seem, events, ideas and unexpected
offers, during February’s last two weeks,
will alter your perspective and, equally,
your ultimate objectives.
GEMINI
May 21 – June 20
To you, life’s an adventure. You regard
those who insist on sticking to a single
plan as unimaginative. Sometimes their
fixed attitude can be a real obstacle. Yet
you’re surprisingly unwilling to examine
the issues raised by your ruler Mercury’s
retrograde cycle, from 21 January to 11
February. These involve ideas, some
longstanding, that form the foundation
for your beliefs yet, in some cases,
hold you back. Instead of defending
them, explore. What you discover could
change your thinking, and your life.
ARIES
March 20 – April 19
Since 2015 began, you’ve been
decluttering numerous elements of
your life, from possessions and plans,
to passions. You’ve even been altering
habits, some for seemingly no reason.
Actually, you’re preparing for a sort of
a personal New Year; this commences
on 20 February, when your own ruling
planet Mars moves into Aries, triggering
a powerful six-week period of growth.
Examine your current activities and
consider which belong in this new
cycle. As you actually undertake those
changes, you’ll realise how ready you
are for them.
CANCER
June 21 – July 22
If there’s a single question that threads
through February’s days, it’s whether
you’re actually responsible for as much
as you think you are. This applies to
everything from family and friends to
activities out in the world. Your instinctive
generosity is admirable but, in some
cases, others need to recognise their
responsibilities. Meanwhile, you focus
on certain of your own potentially
rewarding activities. This doesn’t just
trigger a review of your priorities; you
recognise you sometimes brush off
worthwhile offers of many kinds.
TAURUS
April 20 – May 20
Obviously life is easier if you can make
a single, lasting plan and stick to it. But
with the planet of ideas and expression,
Mercury, retrograde from 21 January
until 11 February, exposing past errors
and leading to sudden changes, each
day brings surprises. Some are a
nuisance but, as you’ll discover, many
give you time to explore intriguing,
if unexpected and perhaps puzzling
options. Dismiss nothing. What seems
least likely could, once all of February’s
changes are over, turn out brilliantly.
